Spring Seeding

Thank You & Quick Reminder We are glad you partnered with us for your lawn care.  It takes a team of lawn care experts and a motivated home owner to have a beautiful lawn like the one in the picture below. SecureTurf does not recommend spring seeding of fescue lawns. Seed planted in the spring will not have adequate time to mature before the summer heat sets in. The grass may appear to be coming in, but will quickly die off as temperatures increase.  In addition, the pre-emergents form a barrier to prevent crabgrass and broadleaf weeds from germinating. Unfortunately, this also prevents any newly planted seed from growing.
